It's simple really, Trees are permanent, woody plants, capable of growing to over 3 metres
(10ft) high on a single stem.
They are divided into two types - 'Broadleaf' and 'Conifer'
Broadleaf Trees are divded into two types - 'Deciduous' (lose their leaves in winter), and
'Evergreen' (which keep their foliage all-year-round, but have periods of leaf drop).
